David Fernando Garcia Sr., age 73, of Kenosha, passed away surrounded by his family in his home on December 10th, 2025. He was born in Lockney Texas on October 1st 1952 to the late Felix A. Garcia and Minnie (Perez) Garcia. He was married to Yolanda (Torres) Garcia for 56 years, beginning on November 10, 1969.
He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who cherished time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A hardworking welder, business owner, and compassionate caregiver to the elderly, he touched many lives through his generosity. Above all, he was a man of faith who trusted in Jesus Christ and loved his family deeply.
He is survived by his wife Yolanda Garcia, children: David, Nancy, Peter, Richard and Jose. siblings: Alma Zapata, Gloria Zapata, Felix Garcia, Jose Garcia, Rudy Garcia, Silvia Sauceda, Tony Garcia, Hector Garcia, Rosie Gallegos, Joan Sanchez and Minnie Gutierrez. He had 11 grandchildren and 9 great grand children.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard, Anita, and Rodolfo.
Funeral services for David will be held at Journey Church (10700 75th St) on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025, at 12:45 P.M. A public visitation will also be held at church from 12 P.M. until the time of the service. David will be laid to rest at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park immediately following the church service.
