Clarence J. Ostermeyer, age 86, a resident of Kenosha, died Saturday February 25th 2017 at his residence.
Clarence was born on July 3rd 1930 in Plain, Wisconsin to Herman and Margaret (Blau) Ostermeyer. He served in the U.S. Army and ultimately retired from Wisconsin Centrifugal in Waukesha where he worked as a machinist for many years. He married Theresa Nesheim in Waukesha and they would later divorce. He then married Mary (Grochowski) Childs who preceded him in death.
Clarence was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. He loved to build models of airplanes and ships and enjoyed putting puzzles together. He was an avid card player who loved a good game of Sheepshead.
Clarence is survived by his daughter Rebecca (Craig) Sullivan of Iowa, his sons Michael Ostermeyer of Mequon and Brad Ostermeyer of Kenosha and by his step-daughters Lisa (Dave) Giesfeldt of Sussex and Andrea Childs of Muskego. He is further survived by his grandchildren, one brother, two sisters and by his dear friend Wendy (Jeffery Hartnell) Siepler of Lake Geneva.
Preceding Clarence in death were his parents, his wife Mary, his daughter Beth and several brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 4th 2017 at 11:00AM at St. Mark Catholic Church in Kenosha. (7117-14th Avenue) Visitation with the family will be on Saturday March 4th 2017 at the church from 9:30AM until the time of mass. Burial will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
