Clarence A. VanHoogen Jr., age 76 a resident of Kenosha, died Monday July 6th 2015 at Kenosha Estates.
Clarence was born July 10th, 1938 in Waukegan, Illinois to Dorothy and Clarence VanHoogen Sr. On October 27, 1979 he married LynneMarie Piccicanio and became part of her family.
Clarence worked as a mechanic for many years and also spent some time as a Security Guard at Snap-On. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed smoking a pipe and loved baseball and car racing. If you want to honor Clarence, cheer for Dale Earnhardt Jr. or take in a Cub’s game.
He is survived by his loving wife LynneMarie VanHoogen, his stepson Larry Tucker of Kenosha, his grand daughter Jessica Tucker and his great grandson Cho Cho Ako. He is survived in addition by one brother Kenneth VanHoogen of Brighton and by two nieces, Kaitlyn and Kaiann VanHoogen and a nephew, Kyle VanHoogen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday July 10th 2015 at 11:00AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kenosha. (Corner of 39th Avenue and 73rd Street) Visitation will be on Friday at the church from 10:00AM until the time of mass.
