Celestina Miceli (1924 – 2006)

Celestina Miceli, age 82 a resident of Kenosha, died Thursday May 4, 2006 at Brookside Care Center.

She was born in Marano Machesato, Providence of Cozenza Italy on April 6, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Dephilips) Miceli.

In 1966 she moved with her family from Italy to Kenosha where she resided for over 40 years.

She enjoyed the company of her family, telling stories, playing bingo and knitting. She was also a devout catholic.

Survivors include her sister Wanda Parrone; three bothers Ildo (Irma), Frank (Ada) and Mario (Maria), all of Kenosha. She is further survived by nieces and nephews; Rosa Raimondi, Enes Bosco; Giuseppe, Luigi, Lorenzo, Roberto, John and Tony Miceli; and Joe and Claudio Parrone all whom she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Enes Miceli, niece Maria C. Miceli and nephew Antonio Parrone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 6, 2006 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kenosha. Visitation will be on Saturday at the church from 9:00AM until the time of mass. Entombment will take place at All Saints Cemetery.
