Catherine Pataska, age 94, a resident of Kenosha died Wednesday May 6, 2015 at the Clairidge House.
Catherine was born on May 25, 1920 in Pepin WI to the late LeRoy and Susan (Huron) Kidd. On July 5, 1941 she married Herbert J. Pataska in LaCrosse WI. Catherine and her husband were owners of Valley Jewelry in Racine WI for 15 years until their retirement. Catherine loved to knit and sew. She also loved to garden roses.
Catherine is survived by her two sons Ronald (Frances) Pataska of Pleasant Prairie WI and Steven (Jeanne) Pataska of California. She is also survived by four grandchildren Kenneth Pataska, Rachelle (John) Kirk, Tom (Tracy) Pataska and Cheryl Pataska. She is further survived by four great grandchildren Samantha Kirk, Amanda Kirk, Matthew Pataska and Samuel Pataska.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband Herbert on June 4, 1995, her parents, son Gregg Pataska in 1981 and many brothers and sisters.
Services will be private.

On behalf of our family, our heartfelt condolences. Although our families have long lost touch with each other, we all still have fond memories of our Uncle Herb & Aunt Catherine, and cousins Ronnie, Steve and Gregg. In later years, my mother greatly missed talking to her sister Catherine, as illness overtook her. Aunt Catherine was the last surviving child of the Kidd family; a generation has now passed in its entirety. Till we all meet again.
