Carolyn R. Koling, age 80, a resident of Pleasant Prairie died Thursday September 28, 2017 at St. Catherine’s Medical Center.
Carolyn was born in Kenosha on September 14, 1937 to Salvatore (Sam) and Edith (Greco) Aiello. She graduated from Bradford High School and maintained the many wonderful friendships she made there with yearly lunches and get togethers. On October 3, 1959, she was united in marriage with John R. Koling at St. James Catholic Church.
Carolyn was a homemaker and for many years she was employed at Emulan Incorporated until her retirement in 1991. Carolyn belonged to St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was a member of the Catholic Junior League. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed hosting dinners for her family and friends especially during the holiday season.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband John of Kenosha and by her three children; Renee (Karl) Timm of Seattle, Washington, Ronald Koling of San Mateo, California, and Rhonda Koling of Pleasant Prairie as well as her two beloved granddaughters, Andrea Timm and Emily Timm. She is also survived by siblings, Sam and Diana, California.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at 11:00AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. (corner of 39th Avenue and 73rd Street) Visitation will be on Tuesday at the church from 9:30AM until the time of mass.
In lieu of flowers, mass offerings in her name at St. Mary’s Catholic Church would be greatly appreciated.
Carolyn’s family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Janet Chua and Dr. Peter Mariani for all their care and compassion in her final days.
