Carole L. Oversen, age 78, a resident of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday August 11th, 2015 in Lindenhurst, Illinois.
Carole was born on June 22, 1937 in Chicago to Edward and Elaine Dargas. She was united in marriage with Henry Oversen who preceded her in death in 2009.
Carole was a homemaker although she formerly worked at the Lake Geneva Stadium Motocross Raceway. She loved motocross racing and was a Chicago Bears fan. Carole enjoyed all things Elvis and her greatest joy was the time she spent camping with her family.
She is survived by her five sons; Gary (Debbie) Davidson, Wayne (Dianna) Davidson, Keith Leben, Kevin (Lorna) Leben and James (Chelle) Oversen and by her two daughters: Christine (Lyle “Joe”) Kanable and Kimberly (Michael “Jason”) Schnider as well as by 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. In addition Carole is survived by her brother Edward (Martha) Dargas and by her sister Susan (Bud) Butler.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Sandra, her sons Michael and Karl and by her brother Wayne Dargas.
Visitation for Carole will be held on Monday August 17th, 2015 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at the Woman’s Club of Kenosha (6028-8th Avenue, west side of Library Park). Everyone is invited to stay for a memorial service honoring Carole’s life at 6:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
