Carole Ann Nordquist, age 79, of Pleasant Prairie passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Carole was born in Ashland, WI on January 10, 1940 to Herman and Edna (Kyllonen) Nuutinen. She married Howard V. Nordquist on April 1, 1961.
She was preceded in death by, her parents; two sisters, Arlene Nuutinen and Dorothy (Nuutinen) Poppe; two brothers, Gerald and Charles Nuutinen and her step-mother, Wilma Nuutinen.
Carole is survived by, her husband, Howard; five children and their families, Adele (Dean) Pfeiffer (Sarah, Kyle/Tera, Rodney), Terry Nordquist, Leanne (William) Wright (William/Kayla, Brandon/Shayla, Caden/Twinkle, Brogan), Darren Nordquist and Jodi (Troy) Johnson (Talerie, Tia/Tyler Rikkola, Bradley, Tessa, Tawny) Michelle Nordquist (Celia), 7 great grandchildren; four sisters, Phyllis (Richard) Caya, Sally Bilson, Kay (Dan) Poland and Faye (Michael) Payeur, Mary (William) Tuominen; brother-in-law, Dennis Nordquist; three sisters-in-law, Carol Nordquist, Marybeth and Joanne Nuutinen as well as other family and friends, and a host of brothers and sisters in faith.
Funeral services for Carole will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Independent Apostolic Lutheran Church (6721 – 156th Avenue) with burial to follow at North Bristol Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be held at the church on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. She is enjoying her Reward now with no more pain or sorrow. Carol was a wonderful, kind and loving person with a great sense of humor. I will miss her. It’s so hard losing a sister, wife, mother , grandmother as you will all miss her but she is safe in Jesus’ arms with no more cares or woes. I love you all and will leave you all in that wonderful God’s Peace.
