Candace “Candy” Marifjeren age 62 of Kenosha passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at her home.
Born on August 28, 1956 in Detroit MI she is the daughter of the late Robert Hamilton and Joanne Hamilton.
On October 15, 1988 she married Robert Marifjeren at the Elks Club in Kenosha.
She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She was employed by Society’s Assets until her retirement.
She loved being outdoors and spending time in her yard. She enjoyed yard work. She liked to travel up north and camp.
She is survived by her mother Joanne Hamilton of Kenosha; her daughter heather (David) Jenson of Pleasant Prairie; six grandchildren; Drew Olson, Jazlyn Olson, Kylee Olson, Isabelle Jenson, Avery Jenson and Landon Jenson. She is further survived by one brother Kurt Hamilton of Kenosha and one sister Cynthia (Wayne) Sinnen. She is also survived by her first husband Donald Holm, her best friend of 48 years Paula Julin and her loving cat Ellie.
She was preceded by her father, her brother Bradford Hamilton, daughter Steffany Olson and her husband Robert Marifjeren.
Funeral services for Candy will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the Woman’s Club (6028 – 8th Avenue). A visitation with the family will be held at the Woman’s Club on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
