Brian Lee Hughes, age 58, of Kenosha, WI passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at
Hospice Alliance Hospice House. Brian was born on September 8, 1959 in Maryland to George and Margaret (Harrington) Hughes. He graduated from Zion High School in 1977 and attended the College of Lake County where he completed the machinist journeyman program. He worked most of his life as a machinist for companies such as Onsrud Cutter, Toolamation, and Shiloh Corp; and he also worked for Amazon. Brian married Marie Salzman on January 16, 2016 at St. Peter Catholic Church. He was a Jehovah’s Witness, enjoyed Bush Craft which is the art of outdoor survival, and was an avid gun collector and marksman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Robert Hughes, and a stillborn
daughter.
Brian is survived by his wife, Marie Hughes of Kenosha, his son, Eric (Michelle) Hughes of
Caledonia, his daughter, Jennifer Hughes of Pleasant Prairie, three sisters, Deborah (Kent)
Stimes, Marion Hughes, and Sheri (Troy) Ockert, as well as nieces, nephews, other family and
friends.
A memorial service for Brian will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at St.
Peter Catholic Church at 2224 – 30th Avenue, Kenosha, WI.
