Barbara V. Klemm, age 71 a resident of Pleasant Prairie, died Monday May 1, 2017 at St. Catherine’s Medical Center.
Barbara was born April 13, 1946 in Kenosha to Edward and Nellie (Coleman) Homes. She was married to George Klemm and they had four children together.
Barbara worked for 18 years at Mars Cheese Castle. She was a customer favorite and people often requested her by name. She was previously employed by Journey Church where she was an active member who loved to sing in the choir. Barbara enjoyed shopping and gardening and her home always featured the most beautiful seasonal décor.
Barbara is survived by her children, Jason (LeeAndra) Klemm of Pleasant Prairie, Geremy (Ginger Saaski) Klemm of Burlington, Lisa (Steve) Kumm of Onalaska and Heide McKinney and Mark McKinney Sr. of Kenosha, as well as by her grandchildren Marky Jr., Kristina, Brandon, Danielle, Tyler, Raehanna, Zachary, Candra, Caylee, Cami and her great grandchildren Tristan, Mason, Natalie and Raynen. She is further survived by her brother Robert (Mary Lou) Homes of Kenosha.
Preceding Barbara in death were her parents and her brother William Homes.
Funeral services will be held on Friday May 5, 2017 at 11:00AM at Journey Church. (10700 75th Street) Visitation will be on Friday at the church from 9:30AM until the time of services. Burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
