Barbara Jean Irmischer, age 67, of Kenosha, passed away on March 10th, 2023, at St. Catherine’s Froetdert South in Pleasant Prairie, WI. She was born in Tomahawk, WI, on May 2nd, 1955, to the late Harold and Ruth (Meyer) Irmischer. She grew up in Tomahawk and later moved to Kenosha where on February of 1986, she married Timothy Zuehlsdorf. She was an LPN at Claridge House Nursing Home for 30 years, eventually retiring in 2020.
She frequently volunteered and donated to many organizations. She was an avid animal lover, rescuing many unwanted animals throughout her life. She enjoyed reading and was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
Barbara is survived by her son Gabriel Zuehlsdorf, daughter Alexandra (Daniel) Guzman, brother Richard (Barbie) Irmischer, sisters: Kathleen Russ, Carol (Dave) Barger, Mary Ann DeRosier, and Kay Van Eyck, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother in laws: Sam Russ, Al DeRosier, and stepmother: Mert Irmischer.
The family would like to thank the ICU team at Froetdert South for everything.
