Barbara Ann Gunderson, age 72, a resident of Kenosha, died Friday April 6, 2007 at Kenosha Care Center.
She was born November 6, 1934 to Leonard and Ethel (Wagner) Hamelink in Kenosha.
She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Mary D. Bradford High School.
She married David Gunderson II, June 6, 1953 in Kenosha. He preceded her in death January 1999.
She was employed at Kemen Sausage then joined Midline Industries for 18 years working in the warehouse.
She loved to garden and take long rides. She was very proud of her grandchildrenand great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her four sons David (Karen) Gunderson III of Somers, Jeff Gunderson of Sturtevant, Lenny (Tracey) Gunderson of Sturtevant, and Eddie Gunderson of Sturtevant; two daughters Nancy Koser of Somers and Diane Gunderson of Somers; twelve grandchildren Michael, Stephanie, Kristen, Jason, Rebecca, Kyle, Timmy, Chris, Cory, Ann, Steve, and Scott; seven great-grandchildren Emma, Myles, Lucas, Dustin, Dylan, Chase, and Ryleigh; two brothers David (Jan) Hamelink Sr. of Kenosha, and Tim (Cindy) Hamelink of Kenosha; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister Delores.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday April 9, 2007 at 7:00pm at First Presbyterian Church (1803 83rd Street). Visitation will be on Monday at the church from 5:00pm until 7:00PM in the Fireplace Room. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
