Audrey Rohner (1944 – 2010)

Mrs. Audrey M. (nee: Lau) Rohner, 65, passed away at her home on Saturday April 24, 2010, surrounded by family.

She was born in Milwaukee on May 12, 1944, the daughter of the late George and Mildred (nee: Stein) Lau. On May 4, 1963, Yorkville Methodist Church, she married William R. Rohner. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2004.

She had worked for the State of Wisconsin at Southern Wisconsin Center for 10 years and later had an in-home daycare. She loved people and being surrounded by children.

Surviving are her children, William M. (Mary) Rohner of Burlington and Lisa R. Ruttenberg of Racine; five grandchildren, Alexandra May, Alyssa K., Sean M., Katelyn A., and Nathanial C.; and brothers Kenneth Lau of Friendship and Robert Lau of Sturtevant.

Memorial services will be held at Faith United Methodist Church, 1013 Harmony Drive, Racine, on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 11:30AM with Rev. Lois Grebe officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 11AM until the time of services.
