Arnold Fox (1926 – 2007)

Arnold L. Fox, age 81, a resident of Racine, died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at the Becker Shoop Center in Mt. Pleasant.

Arnold was born on January 7, 1926, to George and Anna (Stang) Fox in Oshkosh.

He served in the United States Navy from 1944 until 1946. He received the American Area Ribbon and the World War II Victory Ribbon.

He married the late Janet Sinner on September 9, 1950.

Arnold enjoyed golfing, fishing and painting pictures. He loved the outdoors.

He is survived by two daughters Ellen (Jim) Chwala and Dora Mae Fox both of Racine; two grandchildren Katherine Chwala of Tampa, FL and Kelly Chwala of Racine. He is also survived by a brother Vernon Fox; and a sister Cerella Elmer.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Anna; his beloved wife Janet; four brothers John, George, Edward, and Oliver; and three sisters Marie, Esther, and Dora Mae. He will be missed by family and friends.

A gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 11:30am at Robbins Restaurant (1810 Omro Rd., Oshkosh). A Military Honors burial will take place at Forest Garden Memorial Cemetery in Woodruff at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
