Ann Grundy, age 78 a resident of Kenosha, died Thursday December 6th 2012 at Hospitality Manor surrounded by her family.
Born on December 14th 1933 in Paris Texas, she was the daughter of the late William Roy and Lois (Swindle) Bell.
She married Bobby Jack Grundy in 1960 and they would later divorce. She would also marry Ed Werner on March 4th 1979 and they would later divorce.
She was employed for many years in the medical field, and most recently as a loved and trusted child care provider.
Ann’s true joy in life was spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and doll making with her two very special friends; Pam and Gere. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Ann leaves to cherish her memory, three sons; Steve of Witchita Texas; Randy (Linda) of Johnsburg IL, Scott (Becky) of Pleasant Prairie WI; seven grandchildren; Ashley (Danny) Gallina, Jordan Grundy, Jerad Grundy, Avery Grundy, Arden Grundy, Kayla Grundy, Kyler Grundy, two great grandchildren; Mason and Hawk Gallina, one sister Vickie Smith and one brother Roy Bell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters; Betty Nichols, Joann Darnell and Carolyn Knippa.
Funeral services will be held on Monday December 10th 2012 at 7:00PM at First United Methodist Church in Kenosha. (919-60th Street) Visitation with the family will be on Monday at the church from 5:00PM until the time of services. (Please enter from 10th Avenue entrance) Burial will take place at a later date.
