Albert James Rick III

Albert James Rick III, age 66, of Burlington, WI, passed away on November 14^th, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center in Burlington while surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 28^th, 1958, in Illinois to the late Albert J. Rick II and Theresa (Gurtson) Rick. He attended McHenry County schools. He was a truck driver for many years, a job he enjoyed immensely.

He loved cruising around especially in his Dodge Charger and Challenger. Albert also loved riding his motorcycle, visiting his friends and working on anything with a motor but especially his classic cars. He also built his own dragster something he loved to work on and admire. He spent over 20 years with his loving partner Michaela Roemer.

He is survived by his partner, children: Carroll Rick, Cristal Wickel (Mark), Albert James Rick IV and Joshua Rick, a grandson: Kason Wickel, a sister: Debbie Rodriguez (Jose), many nieces and nephews including Sito, Tina, Destiny, Dalton and many others. He was additionally survived by many others he also considered to be nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.

As per the family’s wishes, services will be held privately.
