He was past president of the St. Thomas Holy Name Society, Parish Council, School Board, Choir and Legion of Mary, past president of St. Joseph High School Board of Advisors, past perfect Third Order of St. Francis and former business agent of Barber Local 379, member and past president of The Lions Club of Greater Kenosha.
He is survived by three sons; Stephen (May) Gallo of Fairfax Station Virginia, Peter J. (Shirley) Gallo of Brighton WI, Joseph (Edward) Philadelphia PA, and three daughters; Marie (Michael) Metzke of St. Paul MN, Mary (Dennis) Serpe of Kenosha and Catherine (Timothy) Nelson of Somers.
