Adrian Sward (1952 – 2011)

Adrian M Sward, age 58, a resident of Kenosha, passed away peacefully at ManorCare in Kenosha.

Adrian was born on April 9, 1952 to Carl J and Doreen E (Farnfield) Sward in Granite City IL. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D Bradford in 1970. Adrian was a Junior Deacon in DeMolay Pike Chapter from 1966-1969. He was one of the First double base drum players in Kenosha. Along with his older brother Richard they formed the well known band “One Paper J”. They were a favorite at Ruby One in downtown Kenosha.

Adrian is survived by his ex-wife Lynn Barutta, brother Daniel C (Catherine) Sward of Kenosha, sisters Doreen W Sward of Kenosha and Leslie M (Dave) Rutchick of Rockford IL.

Adrian was preceded in death by one brother Richard C in May 2001 and one sister in infancy.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday March 3, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the Woman’s Club of Kenosha (6028 8th Avenue). Visitation with the family will be held at the Woman’s Club from 4:30 PM until the time of services.
