Thoughts for William Randall Sorensen;

  • Gary Anderson says:

    I am so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. I met Bill in 1951; morning Kindergarten, Roosevelt Elementary School, Ms. Brunner. It wasn’t long and my Mom and Bill’s Mom got a call; the boys are creating a “disturbance”. We continued that “disturbance” through grade school, Junior High and High School. Bill and I took the Northwestern train to Chicago to see the Cubs play on several occasions. We went to Milwaukee County Stadium to see the Braves. On August 20, 1965; we went to White Sox Park in Chicago to see the Beatles. Bill was an ever-suffering” Cub’s fan, so I am glad that he finally got to see them win the World Series. Bill and I would go downtown Kenosha, to the Iserman Building, which was where WAXO-FM was. I had an interest in radio. Finally, Wayne Blackmon, the DJ, let me be on the air. Bill, it was one hell of a ride! We sure had some good times. I enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you, Bill.

  • Susan Anderson says:

    Bev and family, I am sorry for your loss. I used to love to play pranks on your dad; he was a good sport. May your memories be full of love.

  • John and Ruth Kontz says:

    So sorry to hear of Bill’s passing we were out of town in October and just heard about it now. We had many good times with all of you!
