Mary A. Covelli

Mary A. Covelli, 78, formerly of Somers, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 30, 1944, daughter of RD Gammill and Ruby Sulephen, who preceded her in death.

On December 2, 1961, she was united in marriage to Kenneth M. Covelli at Holy Rosary Parish in Kenosha, Wisconsin and enjoyed almost 55 years of marriage.

Mary devoted her entire life to her family, always putting their needs ahead of her own. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother and was an outstanding role model for her daughter and granddaughters. Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, springtime flower shopping with her daughter, gardening, sewing, crocheting, interacting with her dogs, and the peace and beauty of nature.

She was also preceded in death by her sister Frankie Gammill, loving and devoted husband, Kenneth M. Covelli, and their beloved son, Michael A. Covelli.

Remaining to honor and cherish her memory are her daughter Lisa Sniegowski, son-in-law Thaddeus (Ted) Sniegowski, grandchildren Christine Covelli, Stephanie Covelli, Mathieu Sniegowski, Steven Sniegowski, and her great grandchildren Aubree and Emily.

Graveside services for Mary will be held on October 8, 2022 at 11am at Saint George Cemetery with a luncheon to follow.
