Carole J. Wrath, age 83, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2022 at her home. Carole was born on January 1, 1939. She graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School and proudly worked at ShopKo in Kenosha for 38 years, retiring in 2019.
Carole enjoyed spending time with friends and family, reading and traveling. Carole was particularly active with her ladies walking group. Carole will be remembered for her contagious smile and laughter, and for the joy she brought to people of all ages. She had a gift of making everyone she encountered feel welcomed and right at home.
Survivors include Carole’s long-time companion Pete Zeihen, her son Robert Wrath, her sister Barbara Johnson and her brother David Morin. Carole is also lovingly remembered by multiple grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Carole is preceded in death by her late husband, Richard Wrath, her daughter, Suzanne Wesling, her sister, Peggy Hanson and parents David and Edythe Morin.
Memorial services will be held at The Kemper Center, 6501 3rd Avenue; Kenosha, WI 53143, on Friday, January 21, 2022. Visitation will be held from 4:30pm-6:00pm, followed by a remembrance service at 6:00 pm.
