Charles K. Dunham, age 86, of Bristol passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Aurora Medical Center. Charles was born on December 6, 1931 on the family farm in Macoupin County, IL to Maynard and Lucy (Mowen) Dunham. He served in the United States Army from 1952 until his honorable discharge in 1954. Charles married Marilee Crozier on July 14, 1956 in Kenosha at the Baptist Tabernacle Church. He worked as a mechanic and machinist for MacWhyte for 36 ½ years. He enjoyed raising apples and making cider. Charles is known for having an engineering mind and he could not only fix anything but if he couldn’t find the part he would make it. He most enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by, his parents; two brothers and eight sisters.
Charles is survived by, his wife, Marilee Dunham; four children, Lorie (Michael) Cassity, Dean (Kathy) Dunham, Donald (Jane) Dunham and Glen Dunham; six grandchildren, Brian and Mark Cassity, Briana Waison, Alyssa Hatopp, Erin Feldhausen and Tyler Dunham; three great grandchildren, Joshua and Emilee Cassity and Eloise Waison; his brother, Raymond (Anita) Dunham as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In accordance with Charles wishes, private family services will be held.
