Donna J. Bauman, age 72, of Kenosha passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 with her husband Ron by her side at Hospice Alliance Hospice House.
Donna was born on December 12, 1945 in Berwyn, IL. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Betty (Felts) Peterman. She graduated from J. Sterling Morton High School East in Cicero, IL and from Gateway Technical College. Donna married Ronald Bauman on September 19, 1964 in Berwyn, IL. She worked for St. Catherine’s Hospital and the Kenosha Area Convention and Tourism Bureau.
Donna was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed volunteering there; including leading Helping Hands, creating the Christmas Cards for Team Tannenbaum, supporting the Senior Luncheon, and playing in the Bell Choir.
Her greatest joy was taking care of her home, family, and friends; especially her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by, her father, Robert Peterman and her son, Ronald B. Bauman Jr.
Donna is survived by, her Mother, Betty (Felts) Peterman; her husband of 52 years, Ronald Bauman of Kenosha; her daughter, Dawn (Rod) Fritts of Silverthorne, CO; two grandchildren, Kelsey and Kyle Fritts;
her brother, Craig Peterman as well as other family and many friends.
A memorial service honoring Donnas’ life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church (1803-83rd Street). A visitation with the family will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Froedtert Clinical Cancer Center or the First Presbyterian Memorial Fund would be greatly appreciated.
