Bettina Nicole Sanders, 34, of Kenosha and after complications due to a long-battle with diabetes passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Bettina was born on January 18, 1984 in Helena, Montana before moving with her parents to Kenosha. Growing up, Bettina had many friends and never hesitated to make new ones. That stayed true later in life as well; holding onto those relationships closest to her and ever forming new ones. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, painting, reading, as well as writing, which started at an early age. But first and foremost, she was a homemaker. She had always dreamed of having a happy family of her own and it was well known that the center of her existence, the light of her life, was her daughter, whom she loved dearly.
Bettina is survived by her daughter, Lillian; her fiancé, Karl Lindquist of Racine; her father, Curtis Sanders of Kenosha; her mother, Debra Sanders of Kenosha; a brother, Brent Sanders of Kenosha; her grandparents, Merlin and Lucy Anderson of Black River Falls as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends
A memorial service for Bettina will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers and per Bettina’s wishes, the family will be starting a fund for Lillian. Please make any donations payable to Debra Sanders.
