Robert K. “Bob” Pias, age 65 a resident of Somers, died Sunday April 8, 2018 at Froedtert South KMCC. Bob was born on Janaury 27, 1953 in Kenosha to Raymond and Dorothy (Guido) Pias and he was educated in the schools of Kenosha. He married Phyllis (Wolking) in Kenosha on December 27, 1997. Bob worked for many years as a driver for IEA Inc. until his retirement in 2015. He loved spending time with his family, riding his four wheeler, and taking the scooters for a ride along the lake. He was a card carrying Cubs fan his entire life and loved everything about the Cubs. One of his greatest joys was being able to see the Cubs win the World Series in 2016.
He was preceded in death by, his parents; his brother and a sister.
Bob is survived by, his wife, Phyllis of Somers; his daughter, Debra Pias of Woodbury, MN; two step-daughters, Jessica (Heineken) Bonsuelo of Houston TX and Jamie (David) Fountain of Grand Junction, CO; six grandchildren; his sister, Maxine Slaughter of St. Louis Park, MN; four nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday April 12, 2018 at 6:00PM at the Kenosha Woman’s Club. (6028 8th Avenue) Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday at the Woman’s Club from 5:00PM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
The family has requested that visitors be attired in Cub apparel or Cub colors in honor of his love for the Chicago Cubs.
