Lawrence “Larry” A. Rice (1934-2018)

Lawrence A. ‘Larry’ Rice, age 84, of Kenosha formerly of Wauwatosa died February 1, 2018 at Aurora Hospital in Kenosha. He was born January 7, 1934 in Kenosha to Mr. and Mrs. William J. and Elsie Rice. Larry graduated from Bradford High School and Marquette University. He worked in Milwaukee for 25 years for AT&T. He served in the U. S. Navy for 2 years of active duty and in the active Naval Air Reserve for 31 years. He was a member of the American Legion and the U.S.O.

Larry was proceeded in death by his parents William and Elsie Rice, and a brother, Richard B. Rice.

He is survived by two brothers William J. Rice, Jr. of Kenosha and Lowell J. ‘Jerry’ Rice and wife Mary of Lakewood Ranch, FL; his sister-in-law Susan Rice of Kenosha; a nephew Owen J. Rice of New Kingstown, RI and two nieces Beth Tickner of Old Forge, NY and Erin E. Rice of Arlington, VA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 9 at 11:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church followed by a military burial at St. James Cemetery. The family is requesting no flowers, please.
