Andrew Pynaker

          Andrew Pynaker, age 88, a resident of Kenosha, entered into the loving arms of Jesus on Tuesday January 31st 2017 at Hospice Alliance’s Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie.

          Andrew was born in Kenosha on August 20th, 1928 to Samuel and Jessie (Vander Wall) Pynaker. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and then joined the Army Air Corps. On July 16th, 1948, he married Nancy Ann Gemmell at the Kenosha Christian Reformed Church.

Andrew worked at Wisconsin Electric for 39 years, retiring in 1988. He was a lifetime member of the Kenosha Christian Reformed Church where he served as a deacon and an elder, as well as working on the building and grounds committee.

In his spare time, he enjoyed “putzing” around the house and garage working on projects and spending time with his wife and family.

Andrew is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Nancy of Kenosha and by their children, David (Paula) Pynaker of Apex NC, Judy Gorter, Robert (Denise) Pynaker and Karen (Kenneth) Ade all of Kenosha and Pamela (Chris) Maurer of Waukesha. He is additionally survived by his 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren as well as by his sister Ann Brandes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his four brothers and his four sisters.

          Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 3rd, 2017 at 11:00AM at Kenosha Christian Reformed Church (7506-25th Avenue). Visitation will be held on Thursday February 2nd, 2017 at the church from 5:00PM until 7:00PM and again on Friday from 10:00AM until the time of services. Burial with full military honors will follow immediately after Friday morning’s service at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.

          In lieu of flowers, memorials to Kenosha Christian Reformed Church or Hospice Alliance would be welcomed.
