Tracy L. Zimmerman (1968-2016)

Tracy L. Zimmerman, age 47 a resident of Burlington, died Monday April 11th 2016 at Aurora in Burlington holding the hands of her two children.

Tracy was born in Waukegan Illinois on July 26th, 1968 to Robert and Violet (McIntosh) McGrath. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and Racine counties. On July 20th, 2004, she was united in marriage with Thomas Zimmerman in Burlington.

Tracy worked at various times for Nestle and Levelle Industries in Burlington and at Sta-Rite in Delavan. Her passion however was always dancing. She owned and operated Tracy’s Dance Studio in Trevor and loved to share her joy and enthusiasm for dance and movement with children of all ages.Tracy loved to spend time at the C.A.T.H.E. Center for Arts, Technology, Health & Education in Burlington. She frequently volunteered as a choreographer and her talents were appreciated by hundreds of people.

Her joy spilled over into her real life. She was a happy person who never complained and she was exceedingly proud of her beloved children.

Tracy will be dearly missed by her loving husband Thomas of Burlington and by her parents Robert and Violet McGrath of Bristol. She is also survived by her son Jake (Emily Dulle) Zimmerman of Whitewater and her daughter Jocee Zimmerman of Burlington as well as her brother Robert (Tammy) McGrath of Dallas Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Friday April 15th 2016 at 11:00AM at Christ Lutheran Church in Paddock Lake WI. (24979-75th Street) Visitation with the family will be on Friday at the church for 9:30AM until the time of services. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.

  • I can’t believe it’s been that long ago that Tracy joined her first husband Kent L.Patik in the heavens above. Their child Jake is grown with Kent’s twin grandsons. Though neither of us had seen the twins, they are always with us in ❤️.
