Mary Ann Zekovic, 74, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Christopher House in Kenosha surrounded by her family after a brief illness.
Mary Ann was born in Kenosha on June 19, 1935 to the late Frank and Anna (Albano) Principe. She attended schools in Kenosha.
She married William Cantwell on December 24, 1954. On July 5, 1974 she married Milun Zekovic. For most of her life, Mary Ann was a homemaker; she also worked at St. Catherine’s Coffee shop along with her mother. She enjoyed reading, rummage sales and her family.
She is survived by her loving children; three sons, Jeffrey Cantwell, John Cantwell and Jason (Diana) Cantwell all of Kenosha, four daughters, Paula (Michael) Boettcher, North Carolina, Debbie (Greg) Stein of Kenosha, Edie (Steve) LaMothe and Anne (Brian) Taylor both from Pleasant Prairie, her brother Alfred (Nancy) Principe, sisters Irene Riordan and Susan (Jerry) Stephenson. She was deeply loved by her grandchildren Mike and Laura Boettcher, Joe, Kristine and Erik LaMothe, Alexis Stein, Troy, Dillon, Drew, Jason and Chad Cantwell and great grand daughter Adelyn LaMothe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Milun, and sisters Carmela Perri and Rose Zager.
A Mass of Christian Burial to will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 10:00AM. Visitation with the family will be form 9:30 AM until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hospice Advantage of Racine, 5200 Washington Ave, Suite 119, Racine WI 53406, would be appreciated by the family.
