Mary E. Lesniak

Mary Lesniak, born April 27, 1938, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2026, surrounded by a lifetime of love, memories, and the lasting impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She lived her entire life in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where she attended schools and built a life surrounded by the people and places she loved. In 1959, she married Richard, and together they made their home on the north side of Kenosha, where they raised two children.

Mary enjoyed spending time with the people she loved, making memories that her family will carry with them forever. She had a strong and loving heart and taught those around her lessons that will never be forgotten: to always be willing to apologize first, to never be afraid to cry when you need to, and to let your emotions out because sometimes that is exactly what the heart needs.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Anne, and her brother, Thomas Kaminski.

She is lovingly survived and celebrated by her daughter, Jeanne; her son, Thomas; her grandson, Richard; her great-grandsons, Jonah and Jase; her sister, Joan Holzemer, along with Joan’s family, Don and Mike Holzemer of Bellevue, Iowa; and Myong Kaminski of Minot, North Dakota. She is also remembered with love by her extended family and many friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 24^th at St. Peters Catholic Church (2224 30^th Ave Kenosha). Visitation with the family will begin at 10am with Mass at 11am. She will then be laid to rest at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery next to her beloved husband.
