Christopher Anthony Hicks, age 40, of Union Grove, WI, passed away at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee on August 20th , 2026. He was born in Kenosha, WI, on April 7th , 1986, to Rick and Jackie (Bedford) Hicks. He attended local Kenosha schools and graduated from the Kenosha Military Academy in 2004. On October 4th , 2024, Christopher married Sara Dunklau at the Twin Lakes Country Club.
He worked as a tow truck driver at Don’s Towing for many years, a job he greatly enjoyed. His second job was at Wilmot Raceway. Family was first in Christopher’s life, and his children always came first. He loved spending time at both his children’s and niece and nephew sporting events. He was also an avid Brewers fan and loved spending time at the racetrack.
Christopher is survived by his loving wife Sara Hicks, parents: Ricky and Jackie Hicks, children: Mason Hicks, Easton Hicks and Kadence Hicks, siblings: Matt (Allie) Hicks, Bobby Thomas and Jeremy Thomas, sister in law: Samantha Dunklau, mother and father in law: Michael and Jill Dunklau, nieces and nephews: James Hicks and Olivia Hicks, as well as many other living relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Mel and Lois Bedford and paternal grandparents: James and Fran Hicks.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (1919 54th St, Kenosha, WI 53140) on Friday, August 28th , 2026, at 12 P.M. A public visitation will be held at Kemper Center Founder’s Hall (6501 3rd Ave, Kenosha, WI 53143) from 9 A.M. until 11 A.M. Please wear your favorite Brewer’s gear to honor Christopher’s life.
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to Kenosha County Fair Foundation in Christopher’s name with a memo: Wilmot Raceway Safety Team.
