Kevin M. Ortiz – Casey Family Options Funerals & Cremations, LLC

Kevin M. Ortiz, 54, of Racine, passed away on August 3^rd, 2026, peacefully at his residence while surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 12^th, 1972, in Kenosha, WI, to Monserate Ortiz and Pamela (Principe) Hauptmann. He attended local Kenosha schools and later graduated from the Delevan School for the deaf in 1990. Kevin loved the Chicago Bears, Cubs and Blackhawks. He was a devoted family man and spent many of his days driving around visiting his family, which they all loved and cherished. Kevin was also a true outdoorsman and loved camping and searching for Bigfoot. He lived life his own way and was proud to walk to the beat of his own drum.

Kevin is survived by his loving mother: Pamela Hauptmann, siblings: Kelly (Julian) Zapata, Kirk (Cathy) Hauptmann, July (Mickey) Foster, Emil Ortiz, Nicholas Ortiz and his fiancée Andrea Vasquez, and Ammie (Keoni) Roberson and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Monserate Ortiz and stepfather: John Hauptmann.

A celebration of life for Kevin will be hosted by the family at Stella’s Casa Capri (2129 Birch Rd, Kenosha, WI 53140) at 5 P.M. on Tuesday, August 11^th, 2026.
