Jason Scott Darracott

Jason Scott Darracott, age 51, a lifelong resident of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly on June 10th, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha. He was born on October 7th, 1974, in Kenosha, WI, to the late James and Joan (Schwuchow) Darracott. He attended local Kenosha schools. On August 24th, 2013, he married Virginia Lopez at Wolfenbuttel Park in Kenosha. For over 30 years, Jason worked at Northshore Vault Company. Jason loved cruising around town on his motorcycle. He loved watching old TV shows and working on various projects around the house and yard. Most of all he was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Jason is survived by his wife Virginia Darracott, children: Tawni Moyers, Justin Darracott and Athena Matavka, stepchildren: Kaitlin Weiss and Bradley Weiss, grandchildren: Jayden Williams, Sanyiah Franklin and Kensley DeLeon, siblings: Jamie Darracott, Jodi Clay and Jerry Darracott, and many other living relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter: Amyiah Joy.

Services for Jason will be held at Kemper Center Founders Hall (6501 3rd Ave, Kenosha, WI 53143) on Thursday, June 18th, 2026, at 4 P.M. A visitation with family and friends will also be held at Founders Hall from 3 P.M. until the time of the service.
