Kimberlee Ann Hood (Theobald)

Kimberlee Ann Hood (Theobald), age 70, of Genoa City, WI, passed away on February 28th, 2026. She was born on September 5th, 1955, in Illinois to the late Dale and Jane (Benson) Theobald. She graduated from Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove Village, Illinois in 1973. On June 5th, 1978, she married William Hood. The two remained faithfully married until his passing in 2017. Kim spent many years as the Office Manager of Kumon Math & Reading Center in Naperville, Illinois, where she worked with her sister Pam. She also worked as a server at Café Buonaro’s Italian Restaurant in Naperville for over 20 years, where she met many loving friends. For the past few years, Kim has enjoyed her free time in retirement. 

Kimberlee was happiest when surrounded by the people and things she loved most. She held a deep love and gratitude for her grandchildren, children, and family. She spent her free time in her garden and walking her dogs, Mina and Maisie. She enjoyed volunteering with her church, Crossview Church in Antioch, Illinois. Her faith in Jesus was at the center of everything she did, and the years she shared with her husband were some of the sweetest of her life. Everyone who met Kim remembered her warm smile and contagious laugh. She had a special way of making everyone around her feel right at home.

Kimberlee is survived by her children: Jessica (George) Fuchs, Lucas Hood, Ashlee (Nolan) Grace, daughter-in-law: Jane Hood. Her grandchildren: Wyatt, Dylan, Jake, Emma, Mason, Cameron, Tyler, Mia, Everlee and Parker, siblings: Pam (Tim) Ried, Dick (Annette) Theobald, Patti (Brad) Keffeler, brother-in-law: Fred (Nancy) Hood, and many other living relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband: William and son: Sam Hood. 

Services for Kimberlee will be held at Crossview Church (750 Highview Dr, Antioch, IL 60002) on Friday, March 6th, 2026, at 12 P.M. A visitation will also be held at the church from 11 A.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Kim’s name to Crossview Church https://www.crossviewonline.org/give or The Sharing Center https://www.thesharingcenter.net.
