Alan Edwin Gildenstern

Alan Edwin Gildenstern, age 77, of Kenosha, passed away on March 1^st, 2026, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie, WI.

He was born on October 29^th, 1948, in Kenosha, WI, to the late Edwin Gildenstern and Lavern H. (Bosman) Gildenstern. He attended local schools and graduated from Kenosha High School in 1967. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war. He proudly served from 1967 to 1971. For many years he worked at the University of Arizona as a mailroom delivery associate and Ocean Spray in Kenosha in the processing department. He loved watching all sports and loved rooting for any Wisconsin team.

 Alan is survived by his brothers: Robert (Donna) Gildenstern and George Gildenstern, brother-in-law: Larry Cappozzo and several nephews and their children. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Ruthann Cappozzo.

Alan will be interred at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park in a private graveside service.
