Robert E. Oberg

Robert Eugene Oberg, age 86, of Kenosha, passed away on November 15^th, 2025, at his residence while surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 23^rd, 1939, in Minnesota to the late Paul Oberg and Bernice (Paine) Oberg. He later moved to the Upper Peninsula, Michigan where he spent most of his early years. On July 17^th, 1958, he married Esther Cronkright in Trout Creek, Michigan. The two spent 67 years together, which was a testament to their love, faith and commitment to each other. Later he moved to Kenosha where they raised their family. He worked at various tire dealers over the years but most notably at Luebeck Tire Service in Kenosha in which he was proudly co-owner. He later finished his career upon retirement from Pomp’s Tire Service.

Robert loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a man of faith and family, always putting the two first and foremost throughout his life. He loved being a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved being with his family during the holidays and spending time at home with them.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Esther Oberg, children: Gail (Paul) Bricco, Eugene (Kim) Oberg, Shawn (Ruthie) Oberg, Nancy (Timothy) Trottier and Michelle McIntosh, grandchildren: James (Nadia) Bricco, Shannon Sanderson, Crystal (Jimmy) Newsom, Erik Oberg, Corrie (Nathan) Williamson, Grace Oberg, Michael (Nadia) Trottier, Christopher Trottier, Shawna McIntosh, Connor McIntosh and Abigail McIntosh, 17 great grandchildren, brothers: Mark (Lynn) Oberg and James (Ruth) Oberg, as well as many other living relatives and great friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A very special thank you to the Froedtert South Cancer Center for taking such good care of dad in his final days. Another thank you to Pleasant Prairie Baptist Church and Pastor Dave for all his kind prayers, regards and accommodations.

Services for Robert will be held at Pleasant Prairie Baptist Church (12323 Green Bay Rd) on Saturday, November 22^nd, 2025, at 12 P.M. A visitation will also be held at church from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
