Wayne Gustav Schultz age 90, of Kenosha, passed away on October 31st, 2024, at Parkside Manor. He was born on September 24th, 1934, in Salem, WI, to the late Frank Schultz and Emma (Schinke). On February 14th, 1962, he married Helen Homulos in Anderson, Indiana and remained faithfully married until his death. He served in the U.S. Army for several years and after returning home he worked construction for his career. He spent most of his time at Camosy Contruction and retired from there in October 1997. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his loving wife Helen Schultz, children: Mark Ommodt of Madison, WI, Mike Schultz of Silver Lake, WI, and Lisa Bertone (Jeff) of Las Vegas, NV, grandchildren: Bret Ommodt of Spokane Valley, WA, Sara Ommodt, of Verona, WI, and Aaron Bertone of Las Vegas, NV, great grandchildren: Evelyn Ommodt of Spokane Valley, WA, and Alice Ommodt of Spokane Valley, WA, a sister Darlene Zurawski of Rapid City, MI, and a close family friend Jim Procarione (3rd son). Wayne is preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Emma Schultz, sisters: Caroline DeBell, Clairella Ruppert, Jayne Clements, and a brother Dean Schultz.
Inurnment at Salem Mound Cemetery (28825 75th St, Salem, WI 53168) and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
