Carol J. Lenci, age 76, a lifelong resident of Kenosha, died Saturday October 19th, 2024, at her residence.
Born on December 23rd, 1947, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Al and Helen (Simo) Bugalecki.
She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1966. She also received an associate’s degree from Gateway Technical Institute.
On October 19th, 1974, she married Mauro Lenci in Kenosha. They would spend fifty years of marriage together.
She was employed at Samuel Lowe for a time, the City of Kenosha in data processing, but mostly at Pick n Save behind the deli counter where she enjoyed working with the customers. She also prided herself on being a housewife and mother.
She collected stuffed animals. Her favorites were Sloths. She donated to various veterans’ organizations as well as the American Heart Association. She loved doing word search puzzles. She especially loved giving gifts to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of Kenosha; one son, Kevin (Kathryn); two daughters, Michelle and Katie; and three grandchildren, Colman, Anika and Gabriella. She is further survived by one brother, Michael Bugalecki, and one sister; Susan Walker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank Aurora at Home Hospice as well as family and friends for their love and support during this difficult time.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday November 2nd, 2024, at 11:00AM at Our lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. (2224-45th Street or corner of 22nd Avenue and 45th Street) Visitation with the family will be on Saturday at the church from 9:30AM until the time of mass. Entombment will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
