Marilyn Behringer

Marilyn Behringer (Nee Webb) passed away on October 16th, 2024, at Hospice Alliance Hospice House surrounded by family. She was 80 years old.

Marilyn was born in Harvey IL to loving parents Delbert and Stella Webb. The family moved to Kenosha when Marilyn was a young child, where she was educated in local schools. Marilyn met her future husband, Dick Behringer, one night out, and the two were married in Kenosha in 1980. Marilyn tended bar at Lagoon and Gordys, worked for many years at Willams Technology in Waukegan, and eventually retired from KUSD at age 65 where she worked at Lincoln Middle School in food service.

Marilyn loved to travel to warmer places and visit their casinos. Las Vegas was by far her favorite. When she was home she loved spending time sitting by the pool with her friends and family. She also loved rooting for her Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.

Marilyn is survived by her children Roxanne Bareika (Rick Vanhorn), Stacy (Thomas) Behl (nee Bareika), Chuckie Bareika, and Rick (Theresa) Behringer; Grandchildren Michael, Cameron, Nicholas, Justin, Eric, Stephanie, Aaron, Erica, Kyle, and Aylssa; Great Grandchildren Cameron, Beau, Clara, Lonzo, Donatello, Leonardo, RJ, Madison, Lillian, and Nate; and her sisters Nancy and Judy in California. Lastly, she is survived by her best friend Frankie the dog

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Dick Behringer and her parents.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the ICU Nurses at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie and to the nurses and staff at Hospice Alliance for their warm and compassionate care during Marilyn’s final days.

A Celebration of Life will take place November 16th from 2pm till 5pm at Rivals Sports Pub and Grill (6325 120th ave, Kenosha Wisconsin 53142).

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made in Marilyn’s name to Hospice Alliance.
