Carol Jean Becker

Carol Jean Becker, age 86, passed away peacefully at Froedtert South Hospital with her family by   her side on October 6, 2024. She was born to the late Andrew and Louise (Lewis) McLuckie on December 18, 1937, in Kenosha. Carol attended schools in Kenosha and graduated from Kenosha High School. She obtained her nursing degree from the Kenosha Vocational School in 1952.

Carol was united in marriage to the love of her life, Arnold (Ozzie) W. Becker on August 3, 1956. Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ozzie, on October 13, 1976. They had four children. Carol was a very active and loving mother who loved spending and dedicating time with her family. She especially loved family camping trips and participating with all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in their many activities.

Carol worked as a dedicated LPN throughout her career. She started working with Dr. Harry Schwartz and administered the first polio vaccines in Kenosha. She worked many years in the Intensive Care Unit at Kenosha Memorial Hospital and later in her career provided home care to elderly clients in her home.

Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ozzie, her parents and two brothers, Donald McLuckie and Robert McLuckie. She is survived by her children, Diane (Beau) Bosovich, Keith (Darlene) Becker, Sharon (James) Morgan and Barbara (Dale) Wiegele. She has nine grandchildren, Brenda (Kyle) Popp, Brian (Melinda) Wiegele, Wendy Becker, Amy (Aaron) Alvis, Andy Becker, Emily (Isaac) Meidinger, Laura Morgan, George (Emily) Bosovich, and Kathryn Bosovich as well as two great grandchildren Colin Popp, Amelia Wiegele and soon to be Baby Boy Wiegele. Carol is also survived by her brother James McLuckie, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Carol’s life will be celebrated by her family in a private memorial.
