Maria Daughtry (1920 – 2007)

Maria Daughtry, age 86, a resident of Kenosha, died Monday, December 24, 2007 at Beverly Healthcare in Kenosha.

Born on August 6, 1920, in Austria, she was the daughter of the late Gustav and Barbara (Lettermayer) Zimmermann.

In 1935 she would marry James Franklin Daughtry. They would divorce in 1954.

She previously resided in Nashville TN, where she employed as a secretary for the Alliance Rubber Company.

She moved here in 1951 and worked for the Nash Company.

She is survived by one son; Dennis Daughtry of Kenosha.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007 at 4:00pm in the First Presbyterian Church Fireplace Room. (1703-83rd Street) Visitation will be held on Friday in the Fireplace Room from 3:30pm until the time of the service.
