Walton Keith Landree

Walton Keith Landree passed away peacefully on June 17, 2024, at Hospice House following a long illness. Wally was the son of Kenneth Landree, Sr. and Miyako (Ozaki) Landree, born in Neenah, Wisconsin on January 19, 1957.  He was married to his loving wife Donna (Kraak) Landree for 28 years and they happily lived in Kenosha together.  He graduated from Mary D. Bradford high school in 1975.

Wally served our state honorably as a Wisconsin State Trooper for 30 years where he held forth his duty to serve and protect the people of our community. His commitment to service started young, as Wally earned the highest merit of achievement from the Boy Scouts and was recognized as an Eagle Scout. His service continued into retirement where he volunteered to teach gun safety (as well as fishing in Wisconsin lakes to his grandchildren!). Wally loved his Harley Davidson – especially when he could get Donna to ride along with him. While he loved fast cars and motorcycles, he had a knack for remembering the details which made him an excellent trivia partner.  He loved his children, stepchildren and grandchildren with all his heart and was always very proud of his Japanese heritage.

Wally is survived by his beloved wife Donna, his brother Kenneth Landree (Debra) Macon, Georgia, his sister, Kathy Thiege (Terry) Broomfield, Colorado. He is also survived by his children Kodie (Jon) Wautlet, Greenbay, Wisconsin, Kelsie Landree, Grafton, Wisconsin, his stepdaughter, Krista (Adam) Brookman, Mequon, Wisconsin, his stepson Adam (Lauren) Monticelli, Cedarburg, Wisconsin and his loving grandchildren, Paytn and Nathan Monticelli, Joshua Brookman, Gavin Cairo and Brynlee Anderson.

His mother, Miyako, father Kenneth, brother Bruce and loving dogs Duke and Mandy preceded him in death. Private services will be held.
