Everett Allen Stewart, 94, of Union Grove, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 3rd, 2024. Everett was born on April 25th, 1929, in New Castle PA, the son of Miles and Cora (Robert) Stewart.
On January 5th, 1951, he married Ramona H. (Hull) Stewart in Bloomingdale OH. Shortly after his marriage to Ramona, Everett joined the US Army on January 29th, 1951, and served in the Korean War. On October 29th, 1952, he was transferred to the US Army Reserves and then honorably discharged on May 16th, 1957.
Everett was a polisher at Tri-Clover and enjoyed bowling every Sunday morning at Sheridan Lanes. He was also a member of the Kenosha Horseshoe Club and was a big Steelers and Buckeyes fan.
He is survived by his brother, Thomas (Gladys) Stewart of Blacklick OH, sister Althea (Edward) Baldwin of Lake Alfred FL. and nephew Cecil (Laura) Barcalow, Jr.
Everett was preceded in death by his parents Miles and Cora, his wife Ramona, brothers Joseph, William and Malcolm, sister Ethel and son John E. Stewart.
Graveside services, with full military honors for Everett, will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, January 19th, 2024, at All Saints Cemetery (3300 Springbrook Road, Pleasant Prairie).

I had not seen my brother for several years. The last three or four years we have talked on the telephone nearly every day. I learned a lot about him through those conversations. I am so glad we were able to do that Everett loved some kinds of music, especially the old hymns, so this past summer Often sang hymns to him. He sang along when he could remember the words. I sang all the verses to “Jesus Loves Me” the night before he died. He sang along with me even though he could not form the words. I have the blessed hope of meeting him in heaven. Then our voices will be much improved.

He was much loved, and left behind many pleasant memories.
