Sharon A. Dibble, age 79, of Kenosha, WI passed away on November 30, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on February 24, 1944, in Kenosha, WI, she was the daughter of the late Lyle and Helen (Christman) Fontaine. She attended local schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1962. On August 31, 1963, she married the love of her life Alan D. Dibble at St. Peters Catholic Church in Kenosha. They were married 49 years until his passing in December of 2012.
Sharon loved to decorate for the holidays and host family gatherings. She was an avid bowler in her younger days and loved to spend time boating, fishing, and traveling with family. Sharon had a passion for reading and cooking, loved Family Feud and had a bit of a sweet tooth. She deeply adored her 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and spent many hours at the baseball, football and soccer fields watching them.
Sharon is survived by her son, Gregg Dibble of Kenosha; two daughters: Diana (Ronald) Nehls and Wendy (Erik) Larsen both of Kenosha; seven grandchildren: Dustin and Kaylee Tiedke; Adam and Nicholas Larsen; David, Alex, and Richard Dibble; three great grandchildren: Breauna, Brooke, and Madison, and one sister Darlene (Dennis) Mueller of Kenosha. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan; her parents, Lyle, and Helen; and siblings, Jeanine Swift, Beverly (Ronald) Gallo, Robert “Skip” Fontaine, and Donna Fontaine.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m at the Kemper Center Founders Hall (6501 – 3rd Avenue). Visitation with the family will be on Monday in Founders Hall from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial at All Saints Cemetery to follow.
