Janet entered the Garden of Heaven on October 30, 2023. She was born January 2, 1934, to Gertrude and Joseph Harig.
Janet was the most loving daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend.
She survived by her siblings: Judy (Larry) Voss, Joyce Callahan, Debra Steinmetz, Joseph (Marge) Harig and Ted (Terry) Harig. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, and very dear friends.
Janet loved to camp with her longtime companion and soul mate Randy Nix. Spending winters in Arizona leaving her loved ones to bear the Wisconsin weather. She adored her dog Scruffy. He was her number one. If anyone was to ride with her, they knew to sit in the back seat. She treated Scruffy like a prince. Janet loved taking walks at Petrifying Springs Park and watching the squirrels playing in her backyard. Janet was one of a kind, so special to everyone she met. She will be terribly missed.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents Gertrude and Joseph Harig; brother Eugene Harig; sister Jackie Everson; longtime companion and soul mate Randy Nix; nephew Steven Sluga; niece Janet Sluga and her best buddy Scruffy.
A private service will be held with family.
