James Francis Kleinmark Jr.

James Francis Kleinmark Jr., age 66, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away on October 30^th, 2023, at his residence surrounded by family. He was born on October 11^th, 1957, to Jerry Ann (Witt) in Chicago, IL. He and his family later moved to Lake Zurich, IL, where he attended local schools, including Lake Zurich High School. On February 26^th, 1977, he married Kimmberly Dickes in Waukegan, IL. In 1984, he relocated to Pleasant Prairie and stayed there for the remainder of his life. He worked at Cherry Electric in Waukegan, IL for over 30 years. After Cherry Electric closed, he went to work for Nemera in Buffalo Grove, and retired there in 2019.

James loved cooking, music, spending time with his family, and his beloved dog “Suds”.

He is survived by his wife Kimmberly Kleinmark, Mother Jerry Ann Kleinmark, children: JD Kleinmark, Amy (Diana) DeLeon, grandchildren: Ethan Mengo, Brooklynn Kleinmark, and Bailee Kleinmark, brothers: Hank Kleinmark, Ken (Cheryl) Kleinmark, Chuck Kleinmark, and Bill (Dawn) Kleinmark,  many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank Aurora at Home Hospice for all their compassion and care for James.

As per the family’s wishes, services will be held privately.
