James I. McGuinness, age 19, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday March 22nd 2016 at his residence.
James was born on July 31st 1996 in Kenosha to Thomas and Susan (Sikich) McGuinness. He was a graduate of Indian Trail High School and had been formerly employed at Woodman’s and McGuinness Painting.
High spirited and joyful, James loved the outdoors and the ocean. He enjoyed long boarding, music, and working out. He loved to hang out with his family and had recently developed an interest in politics.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Thomas and Susan McGuinness, and his beloved sister Kate Marie McGuinness. He will be missed by his whole extended family which includes grandparents Patricia Balmes, Joe and Kathy Sikich, Bill and Linda Kamholz, Tom and Jackie McGuinness, and aunts and uncles, John McGuinness , Debra (Brian) Hunter, Judy Sexton, Diane (Jon) Milne, Donna (Keith) Swanson, Lori Balmes, Lisa Balmes, Beth (Dan) Lawson, Rick (Jamie) Balmes, David (Denise) Balmes, and Scott Patterson. James is further survived by several great aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
Preceding James in death was his grandfather Richard Balmes Sr., his uncle William Patterson, his great grand parents, Tom and Bernice McGuinness, Elton and Ruth Parker, Peter and Mary Sikich, Paul and Emily Niskala, and his great uncles Bobby Parker and James Christensen.
Funeral services and visitation will be held on Monday March 28, 2016 at Journey Church in Kenosha. (10700-75th Street) Visitation with family and friends will be held from: 4:00 PM-6:00 PM, and the funeral service at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
